HEROL - MY MOUNTAIN RETREAT, Luson

Herol offers 13 rooms and the Villa Heidi, a detached villa 200 meters from the main building. Rooms feature Swiss pine furniture, allergy-safe design, and private bathrooms with bathrobes. Some rooms have balconies with mountain views, while the Garden Room includes direct garden access. The Villa Heidi features three bedrooms, a living area with a fireplace, a small kitchen, and a covered terrace. Daily cleaning is not included for the Villa.

Herol features chef-prepared meals using natural ingredients from the farm or local area. A breakfast buffet is available from 8 AM to 10 AM, offering homemade products and South Tyrolean specialties. A 3-course menu is served in the evenings starting at 7 PM, except on Wednesdays during the summer. On Wednesdays, the hotel staff takes a day off and dinner is not served.

Herol offers wellness facilities, including a panoramic sauna, steam bath, Kneipp shower, and relaxation room. Guests can explore the surroundings, with options for hiking and winter activities. A natural bathing pond in Lüsen is also available for swimming in summer. Guests can use e-mountain bikes. A forest walk offers a mindfulness path around Herol.

Herol is located in Lüsen, 70 km from Bolzano, at 1,600 meters above sea level, surrounded by the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the south, take the Klausen motorway exit towards Brixen, then Lüsen. Buses run hourly between Lüsen and Brixen. A minibus connects Herol car park to Lüsen or Zumis car park during summer.

Herol provides services, including a hotel bar, lounge, and sun terrace. Felt slippers from pure sheep wool can be purchased for €25.00. The hotel can arrange pick-up from Brixen train station. The easiest way to get a transfer from the airport is by Südtirol Bus. Dogs are welcome.
