HEROL - MY MOUNTAIN RETREAT, Luson

Herol - My Mountain Retreat, located 70 km from Bolzano, features 13 rooms, suites, and Villa Heidi (a holiday apartment 200m from the hotel). Rooms feature Swiss pine furniture and allergy-safe design. Villa Heidi includes three bedrooms, a living room with fireplace, a covered terrace, and access to hotel amenities. Connecting attic rooms offer a living area and a balcony with mountain views. Garden rooms provide direct garden access. Two-story connecting rooms include wood furnishings, a flat-screen TV, and a large terrace. A separate apartment, 300 meters from the hotel check-in, includes 3 bedrooms, 1 living room a small kitchen and a bathroom. There is also a covered terrace with tables and chairs. (Daily cleaning is not included.)

The onsite restaurant prepares dishes with ingredients from the farm and surrounding area. A 3-course menu is served in the evenings. Breakfast features homemade items, bread from Lüsen's bakery, and South Tyrolean products. The hotel bar serves coffee and drinks. Many farms serve traditional dishes like barley soup, Schlutzkrapfen, slaughter platters, and Sauerkraut.

Guests can access a wellness area with a panoramic sauna, steam bath, Kneipp shower, and relaxation room. Activities include hiking and access to Alpe di Luson/Lüsner Alm and Alpe di Rodengo/Rodenecker Alm. Skiing and snowboarding are available with 43 kilometers of slopes. The property provides a terrace and a garden. There is a small idyllic mountain lake in Lüsen. Guests can follow the Adolf Munkel Path at the foot of Gruppo delle Odle/Geislergruppe to Geisleralm and Gschnagenhardt Alm.

Herol is located in Lüsen, 6 km from Castello di Rodengo and Museo del Loden, and 7 km from Ehrenburg Castle. The hotel is accessible from the Klausen motorway exit towards Brixen and Lüsen. Buses run hourly between Lüsen and Brixen. A minibus provides transport to Zumis car park, a starting point for hikes. Innsbruck Airport is 1.5 hours away, Verona Airport is 2.5 hours away, and Munich Airport is 3.5 hours away. Südtirol Bus provides airport transfers.

Herol offers a ski storage and bicycle hire. The hotel provides bathrobes and felt slippers. During the summer, dinner is not served on Wednesdays so guests can explore other food options in the area. The hotel provides a forest walk around the hotel. Dogs are welcome at the bar and conservatory area, and on the terrace in summer. Babysitting, daily housekeeping and other amenities can be arranged for an additional cost.
